Fab-Fibe Show 2009

Aother friend of mine, Roomism is holding an exhibition on the multi-possibilities of fabric and paperFestive. This is the third year they making effort to get artists and designers around the world to do the collaboration for the toy skin design. Check out the artist's works at this 3 days event!

I came across this from a friend's FB photo coincidentally and realized Michael Lau is holding an exhibition in Malaysia! There are many artisits with unique styles but I particularly love his originality. He is a very hands-on artist. I'm dying to see his works!!!

Lucha no Libre

The magnificent set up, colorful masks, high acrobatics difficulty fight, and rapid sequences of holds and moves are the elements which make the Mexican free wrestling an all time famous. However the gorgeous trick or the swift and fierce style cannot hide the fakeness essence of the sport. All the deathliest fight, one climax after another, including the victory and defeat are under the prearrange program situation. However, the audiences are still crazy about it and chooses to believe everything happened in the arena are real.

不自由的自由摔角手
华丽的包装、瑰丽的面具、如同耍杂技般高难度而令人叹为观止的搏斗，皆是墨西哥自由摔角能够风靡全球的元素。只是，再绚丽的花招，再凌厉的招式，都隐藏不住其虚伪的本质。然而，在明知道所有的生死搏斗、高潮迭起，包括胜负都是预先安排好的戏码的情况底下，观众却依然选择为之疯狂，甚至选择相信擂台上发生的一切，都是真实无误的。

A friend holding his 2nd solo exhibition, reminded me his words at his 1st exhibition, Pandora boxes,"“革命尚未成功！” . He's now back for his 2nd one, even greater master pieces!

Be an ECO Hero!

Character design for 4 Eco-heroes. Each of them plays a different role and has an important task – creating awareness and educating the public to fight global warming.



The idea was extended into four comic strips targeted at youth. Every hero is responsible for promoting a different green message. The comic is published in the SECDC monthly newsletter distributed to the community.

An Eco-heroes drawing competition driven by the same objective was organised to encourage the youth to express their creativity with the Eco-heroes.



I was very honoured to be invited to conduct a workshop for a youth camp, sharing my knowledge and demonstrating some basic techniques of creating your own comics.

















The comic workshop was fun and an enjoyable experience.

I'd like to thank Qio Cre8tives for the great opportunity. And a big thank you to cyanwater for the wonderful pictures!
